Unlike other brands, we guarantee the quality of your jewellery for life. Should a replacement piece ever develop a defect (which has never happened so far)? Then that piece is covered by the same warranty again.

A claim in 3 steps
Something wrong with your jewellery? No hassle. Follow these three simple steps and we will take care of the rest.
Take a Photo
Take a clear photo of the defect — make sure the problem is clearly visible. Unfortunately, we cannot process claims without a photo.
Send an Email
Email your photo, order number and a short description of the defect to info@deruiterdr.nl.

Our team assesses your claim and guides you through the next steps — repair or replacement, without hassle.
What is not covered by the warranty?
To keep our lifetime promise sustainable for all customers, a few situations fall outside our manufacturing warranty. Transparency up front, no surprises afterwards.
- Non-jewellery products from DeRuiterDR.
- Claims with previously submitted photos.
- Lost or stolen items.
- Intentional damage or damage caused by third parties.
- Excessive wear from intensive use or misuse.

What exactly is "excessive wear"? +
Excessive wear refers to jewellery that has been used intensively or repeatedly misused and shows damage beyond what our manufacturing warranty covers. Think of jewellery worn during heavy physical labour or contact sports, or exposed to chemicals for years outside normal daily use.
How long does it take to process my claim? +
Once we receive your photo and order number, we usually assess your claim within 1 to 3 working days. We then guide you through the next steps — whether that is a repair or a replacement.
Do I need a receipt or proof of purchase? +
Your order number is enough. We can find it in our records — no receipts or extra proof needed.
Does the warranty also apply to gifts? +
Yes. The lifetime warranty applies to the piece itself, whether you bought it for yourself or received it as a gift. Just make sure you have the original order number to hand.
What if my piece is no longer available? +
If your model is no longer in the collection, we will offer an equivalent replacement from our current collection. We will of course contact you personally about this.
